Villagers threaten a lost Dratini, but a boy steps in.
A mysterious professor tasks him with nursing it back to health.
A day in the life of a boy and his Dratini.
The boy teaches Dratini about life in all its forms... and then Dratini's father attacks the village.
The boy and Dratini watch the fight in horror.
So they try to stop the fight. Somehow, both sides listen.
Dragonite calms down, and the two friends begin to say goodbye.
The boy gives Dratini a seed to remember him by.
Dratini decides it'll never forget the boy.
The epilogue, with the boy grown up.
